Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ZHASIK (“we”, “us”, “our”), the operator of JACCORA (the “Service”), collects, uses, and protects your personal data. It applies to anyone who creates an account or uses the Service.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: the name and email address you provide when signing up, and your account password (stored securely, hashed — we never see or store it in plain text).
• Usage data: which dramas and episodes you watch, your playback position (so we can offer “Continue Watching”), and episode view counts.
• Subscription data: the plan you request, its price, status (pending/approved/rejected), and the Kaspi Pay transaction reference number you submit so we can match it against the transfer received. We do not collect or store your card number, bank account number, or other Kaspi Pay credentials — the transfer itself happens directly between you and your bank/Kaspi, outside the Service.
• Account status data: whether your account is active or suspended.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data above to:

• Create and secure your account, and let you sign in;
• Determine which episodes you can watch for free versus which require premium access;
• Show you where you left off in a drama (“Continue Watching”);
• Review and approve or reject your subscription payment requests;
• Respond to support requests you send us;
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored in a managed Postgres database (via Supabase) with row-level security so that, other than our administrators, each account can only read its own data. Access to the database and admin dashboard is restricted to authorized administrators of ZHASIK.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

The Service uses a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your session. These are required for the Service to function and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it only:

• With service providers who host our infrastructure (e.g. Supabase), solely to operate the Service;
• If required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or valid request from a government authority;
• To protect the rights, safety, or property of ZHASIK, our users, or the public.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain records (for example, payment request history) to comply with applicable law.

7. Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or ask questions about how it's used, by emailing dimaszhan0107@gmail.com. You can also update your name and manage your account directly from your profile page.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at dimaszhan0107@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
